FRAZEYSBURG ? Dorothy E. Brailer Kilpatrick, 78, of 8885 Vickers Hill Drive, Frazeysburg, Ohio died at 5:20am Monday, August 9, 2004 at the LPN Health Care Facility in Newark, Ohio. Born September 5, 1925 in Nashport, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William and Lottie (Berkshire) Brailer and was a 1943 graduate of Nashport High School. Mrs. Kilpatrick was a homemaker and for many years operated a dairy farm near Frazeysburg. Surviving are three sons, David D. (Amy) Kilpatrick and Wayne D. Kilpatrick, both of Frazeysburg, and Stephen K. (Melody) Kilpatrick of Zanesville; two daughters, Sue (Steve) Allen of London, Ohio and Karen Summerfield of Frazeysburg; one brother, Bernard E. (Joy) Brailer of Nashport; eleven grandchildren, Stephen, Courtney, Hillary, Rachel, Kyle, Tyler and Tanner Kilpatrick, MacKenzie and Stuart Allen, Matthew Summerfield and Andrea Taylor; one great grandchild, Reagan Whitacher; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, H. Kenneth Kilpatrick, whom she married April 18, 1950 and who died May 31, 1999; one son, William A. Kilpatrick, who died July 2, 1970 and a sister, Virginia G. Hindel. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm Wednesday, August 11, 2004 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 Third Street, Frazeysburg. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am Thursday, August 12, 2004 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church at the Mattingly Settlement in Nashport with the Rev. Father Jack Maynard as celebrant. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio, 1984 Coffman Road; Suite A, Newark, Ohio. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
