Obituary
FRAZEYSBURG – Doris E. Rich, 87, of McConnellsville, Ohio died Monday evening, November 21, 2011 at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, Ohio.
Born April 13, 1924 in Bishopville, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Minnie (Binderbasin) Milhoan and she was a retired welder from Malta Manufacturing, Malta, Ohio. Mrs. Rich love to cook and work in her flower and vegetable gardens. She also enjoyed bird watching.
Surviving are three daughters, D. Jane Barker of Columbus, Ohio, Debra K. (Jim) Myers of London, Ohio and Lisa A. (Gary) Starling of Franklinton, North Carolina; one sister, Bonna McGlaughlin of Marietta; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Parley P. Rich whom she married April 3, 1962 and who died October 9, 1970; a daughter, Mary L. Hodge and two brothers, Robert and Harold Milhoan.
There will be no calling hours and family funeral services will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, November 26, 2011 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Mesnard officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or the Humane Society.
