Doris L. Jones, 86, of Dresden died Friday November 28, 2003 at the Newark Healthcare Centre. She was born March 24, 1917 in Muskingum County to the late Clinton and Ethel (Booth) Robinson. She was a lifetime member of the Dresden Baptist Church, a member of the women?s fellowship group and served as a volunteer to the Awana Club. She is survived by two daughters, Dixie (Randy) Hardesty of Hebron, Michaele (Mike) Coates of Orlando, Fla.; two grandchildren, Shane Hardesty of Hebron, Jeremy Osborn of Los Angeles, Ca.; brother, Gilbert (Della) Robinson of St. Louis, Mo.; sister Ellen (Larry) Prouty of Dresden; sister-in-law, Hortense Robinson of Dresden. In addition to her parents, two brothers, Delbert Robinson and George Robinson preceded her in death. Private services will be held at a later date. The family requests in her memory contributions may be made to the Leukemia Association, Alzheimer?s Association or the Humane Society.
