FRAZEYSBURG ? Funeral services for Doris Lillian Fowler, 80, of Marne Road, Newark, Ohio will be at 11:00am Saturday, December 18, 2004 in the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Mrs. Fowler?s grandson, Pastor Mark Fowler and Pastor Danny Workman officiating. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery in Coshocton County. Mrs. Fowler died Tuesday morning, December 14, 2004 at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark. Born October 11, 1924 in Coshocton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Marie (Hoffster) Young and was a member of the Black Run Church of God at Nashport and the W. C. G. group of the church. Mrs. Fowler retired in 1985 as a seamstress with the J. C. Penny Company in Newark. Surviving are two sons, Arthur (Joyce) Fowler of San Landro, California and Floyd (Sharon) Fowler of Danville, Kentucky; two daughters, Alice (Stanley) Wolfe of Newark and Maggie (Alan) Curbelo of Grand Cayman; one brother, Milton (Ellen) Pigman of Warsaw, Ohio; one sister, Kathleen McIntyre of Coshocton, Ohio; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-four great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Fowler, whom she married January 25, 1938 and who died March 26, 1947; two sons, Edwin Fowler and Thomas Fowler; and a brother, Leo Young. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Friday, December 17, 2004 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 Third Street, Frazeysburg.
