NEWARK ? A funeral service for Donnie T. Dunn, 60 of Newark will be held at 8:30PM Tuesday January 31, 2006 at the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Hissong, officiating. Mr. Dunn died Saturday evening, January 28, 2006 at University East Medical Center in Columbus. He was born January 15, 1946 in Newark to the late James L. and Doris (Yarman) Dunn. He was a graduate of Utica High School and had retired from Rockwell. Mr. Dunn was a member of the Newark Druids, Newark and Heath Eagles and Fredonia Lodge F&AM. Survivors include his wife of 40 years Janet (Morgan) Dunn, whom he married August 7, 1965; daughters, Katrina M. (Darrell) Fitzpatrick of Canal Winchester, Melissa L. (Jeff) Simpson of Utica, and Amanda L. (Brian) Hornyak of Newark; son, Donnie T. (Ashley) Dunn, II.; grandchildren, Donnie Dunn, III., Brittani Dunn-Edwards, Tiffani Chavez, Haley, Kyle, Kim and Kevin Hornyak, Zachary Fitzpatrick, and Lillian Simpson; a sister, Connie B. (David) Lee of Newark; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to is parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James F. Dunn and Richard L. Dunn; and a sister, Bonnie E. Sullivan. Friends may call from 6:00PM until the time of service at 8:30 PM Tuesday at the funeral home, 1850 W. Main St., Newark. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
