A Celebration of Life service for Donna J. Wilson, 73 of Newark will be held at a later date.

Donna passed away on Tuesday May 24, 2022 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center operated by Hospice of Central Ohio. She was born March 4, 1949 in Chardon, OH to Fred & Sadie (Curry ) Sturgill.

Donna was very involved with her family. She was happiest during family gatherings and especially interacting with her grandchildren. She enjoyed solving puzzles, playing card games, visiting with friends and shopping.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Ricky L. Wilson; daughters, Tina (Blaine) Schafer of Shepherd, MI, Bobbie (Michael) Harter of Mt. Vernon; step sons, John Earl (Shawna) Miller of Van Wert, OH, Rick (Heather) Miller of Savannah, GA; grandchildren, Josh (Alisha) Schafer, Phillip (Alex) Schafer all of Michigan, William Harter of Mt. Vernon, Ashley Harter of London, OH, David Harter of Cheboygan, MI; step-grandchildren, Madison Miller, Macie Miller, Leona Miller, William Miller, Rick "JR" Miller, Gracelynn Miller; eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Lake of Newark; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Vivian (Ken) Houston; brother-in-law, John Lake.
