Donald L. "Donnie" Osborn, 84, of Toboso, Ohio died Saturday evening, December 26, 2015 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center operated by Hospice of Central Ohio in Newark.
Born September 13, 1931 in Newark he was a son of the late Asa D. and Lydia M. (Owings) Osborn and he attended Hanover-Toboso High School. He served in the United States Army Air Corp and later, the United States Air Force. Mr. Osborn was a self employed carpenter.
Surviving is his loving wife of 64 years, Mary Lou (Crawmer) Osborn whom he married May 12, 1951; two sons, Charles (Beth) Osborn of Nashport and John (Patty) Osborn of Newark; six grandchildren, Jeremy (Erin) Osborn, Kristen (Jeff) Grow, Angela Osborn, Matthew Osborn, Chelsa Corwin and Heather Corwin; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Lewis Osborn, Sr. and a sister, Louise Levingston.
Calling hours will be 4pm to 7pm Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be 2:30pm Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Holman officiating. Burial will be in Hanover Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Shelter or to Hospice of Central Ohio.
