Obituary
A funeral service for Donald W. Martin, 54 of Cincinnati will be 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2011 in the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Katrick officiating. Private entombment will take place at Newark Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Martin died unexpectedly July 10, 2011 in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. He was born August 13, 1956 in Newark to Donald E. and Norma Jean (Charlton) Martin, now of Arcadia, Florida. Don was a 1974 graduate of Newark High School. He worked as Director of Family Services at Lakeview Cemetery. He had previously worked as a manager at Case's Cardinal. He had also worked at Union Cemetery in Columbus, Arlington Memorial Gardens in Mt. Healthy, and Green Lawn Cemetery in Columbus. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Laurie (Case) Martin; a son, Nicholas Martin of Newark; and a brother, David (Marilyn) Martin of West Lafayette, Indiana.
Friends and family may call from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the VENSIL-ORR & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark.
