Donald W. King, 75, of Trinway, died Sunday March 20, 2011 at OSU Medical Center following complications from liver surgery on February 16, 2011.
Mr. King was born August 29, 1935 in Coshocton, a son of the late Walter J. and Carrie B. (Heck) King. He was a retired cement truck driver at Dresden Concrete. A Baptist by faith, he loved hunting, fishing, camping, NASCAR and working in his garage.
Surviving are his wife, Mary H. (Blosser) King; sons, Rick (Carrie) King, of Frazeysburg; Chad (Lauri) King of Warsaw; step son, John Robert Leckrone of Zanesville; grandchildren, Briane (Josh) Eick of Coshocton, Adriane (Brad) Shindle of Indiana, Danielle (Rusty) Hindel of Nashport, Lauren King of Frazeysburg, Casey (Kurt Wilson) King and Cody King both of Coshocton, Jessica Bates of Zanesville, Brent Bates of Lima; a great grandson, Boston Shindle and two expectant great grandchildren; step grandchildren, Dalton and Carter Leckrone both of New Lexington, Evan Harper of California; two sisters, Marilyn (Lester) Arnold of Coshocton, Juanita (Roger) Lutz of Dresden and several nieces and nephews and a brother in law, Bill (Kitty) Blosser of Newark.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents, were his half brother James Richard King; mother in law, Virginia Blosser; sister in law, Brenda Arrigan, brother in law, Jack Davis and while he was hospitalized, his beloved dog, Babe.
Friends may call 4-8PM Wednesday March 23, 2011 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home and one hour prior to the funeral service at 11AM Thursday at the funeral home. Pastor Sharon Williamson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dresden Cemetery.
