FRAZEYSBURG ? Funeral services for Donald L. Hall, 70, of Bolen Road, Newark, Ohio, will be at 1:00pm Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Myers officiating. Burial will be in Smith Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Hall died Sunday, May 8, 2005 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center in Newark. Born September 20, 1934 in Newark, he was the son of the late George and Marcelyn (Sturm) Hall and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the Navy. Mr. Hall was a computer programmer analyst specialist for the DCSC of Columbus, Ohio. He was a member of Farmers Lodge #153, F. & A. M. of Fredonia, Newark Chapter #305, O. E. S. and the Ancient and Accepted Order of Scottish Rite, Valley of Columbus. Surviving is his wife, M. Virginia (Nethers) Hall, whom he married October 14, 1956; four sons, Gary M. (Truda) Hall of Nashport, Ohio, Steve K. Hall of Newark, Greg L. (Michelle) Hall and Todd A. Hall, both of Manassas, Virginia; one daughter, Becky Hewitt of Newark; one brother, Ken (Tiny) Hall of Mississippi; one sister, Alayna Staggers of Heath, Ohio; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; one half brother; one step brother; one step sister; several nieces and nephews; and his favorite cat, ?Maverick?. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son in-law, Ricky Hewitt. Calling hours will be from 11am until service time at 1:00pm at the funeral home in Frazeysburg.
