A graveside service for Donald E. Cecil, 58 of Heath will be held at a later date in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Military funeral honors will be provided by the Licking County Veteran?s alliance. Mr. Cecil died Friday May 5, 2006 at Selma Markowitz Care Center. He was born May 2, 1948 to Marion E. and Shirley A. (Fletcher) Cecil. He was a graduate of New Lexington High School and spent his career serving his country in the United States Navy. In addition to his parents he is survived by his loving wife, Geneveva (Esmaquilan) Cecil, who he married March 14, 1977; her son, Felizardo (Karen) Dela Cruz of Heath; her daughters, Norma (Kenneth) Wentzel of Loyal, WI., and Marites Dela Cruz of the Philippines; a brother William (Pamela) Cecil of Newark; grandchildren, Brittney, Lindsay, Nathaniel, Maria, and Gracelyn; great-grandchildren, Bless and Paris; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 Monday at the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark.
