Dolores F. "Dody" Williamson, 90, of Newark, Ohio died Tuesday evening, May 4, 2021 at her home.

Born July 15, 1930 in Uhrichville, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Homer and Addie (McFadden) Sharp.  A very faithful Christian, she was a member of Licking Valley Church of Christ.  Dody enjoyed playing the piano and working in her flower garden.

Surviving is one daughter, Carole Anderson of Newark; two sons, Robert Williamson of Newark and John (Margo) Williamson of Coshocton, Ohio; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren.  Also surviving is one brother, John (Becky) Sharp of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; one sister, Phyliss (Dave) Briggs of Evansville, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 71 years, Harry "Hap" Williamson whom she married June 11, 1947 and who died November 14, 2018; a daughter in-law, Cathy Williamson; two brothers, Lou Sharp and Philip Sharp and two sisters, Barbara Kanaval and Evelyn Domer.

Calling hours will be from 4pm to 5pm Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Licking Valley Church of Christ, 1578 Dayton Road, Newark, Ohio.

Memorial services will be at 5pm at the church with Minister Gus Andrews officiating.
