Dian Marie Welsch, 60, of Trinway, died Tuesday morning, April 9, 2024, at Altercare Zanesville.

Born December 29, 1963, in Zanesville, she was the daughter of the late Richard L. and Edna B (Lacy) Welsch and a 1982 graduate of Tri-Valley High School.  Dian earned her master's degree along with many individual licensures.  She was always pursuing education, constantly taking new course and learning.  She was a lifetime student and loved challenging herself.  Dian retired from Coshocton Memorial Hospital after 33 years of service as a Lab Tech- Microbiologist.  She was a member of Trinway United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Stars.  Dian put everyone else first, she enjoyed spending time with her family and teaching her nieces how to cook.

Surviving is her brother, Richard (April Whyde) Welsch; three nieces, Kayla (Cory) Marling, Kristin (Hod) Lundell, and Mandy (Matt Wyer) Lacy; three nephews, Wes (Ashton) Stotts, Jeff (Kendell) Stotts, and Jason (Megan) Stotts; a great niece, Willow Marling;  a great nephew, Cam Wyer; an uncle, Steve (Linda) Lacy;  special lifelong friend, Deena Willis; and many extended family and friends.

Graveside services for Dian will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at the Dresden Cemetery with Pastor Carl Scheaffer officiating.
