Obituary
A graveside service for Dennis M. Katnik, 65 of Newark will be held at 10 a.m. Monday October 24, 2011 at Cedar Hill Cemetery conducted by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.
Mr. Katnik died Tuesday October 18, 2011 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born May 1, 1946 in North Braddock, Pennsylvania to the late Albert E. and Margaret E. (Kochera) Katnik.
Mr. Katnik served in the U. S. Navy. He was employed as a meat cutter for several groceries.
His hobbies included coin and stamp collecting, building model ships and target shooting. He enjoyed working on his computer and spent many hours gardening. He was a fan of the Lakers, Bengals and Buckeyes.
Survivors include his wife, Sue (Good) Katnik; daughters, Karen (Brandon) Dominguez of LasVegas, Vickey (Robert) Hungate of Murrieta, CA; son, Michael A. (Kim) Katnik of Irvine, CA; brother, Richard D. (Victoria) Katnik of Solana Beach, CA; three grandchildren, Grant Katnik, Grace Katnik, Annagrace Hungate.
