FRAZEYSBURG â?? Delta Mae Miller, 77, of Zanesville, Ohio died Friday morning, September 17, 2010 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital.
Born June 22, 1933 in Camden-On-Gauley, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Flossie (Butcher) Thorn and was a homemaker. Mrs. Miller was a member of Word of Life Church of Zanesville. She enjoyed her family and she loved to visit yard sales.
Surviving is one son and daughter in-law, Keith and Stephanie Miller of Jacksonville, North Carolina; three daughters and sons in-law, Terisa and Wayne Plum of Zanesville, Jackie and Bill Bice of Zanesville and Melody and Tom Ludwick of Springhill, Florida; two brothers, Roy (Marilyn) Thorn of Zanesville, and Art (Mamie) Thorn of Virginia; one sister, Katheryn (Leonard) Hodges of Virginia; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many special friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard E. â??Dutchâ? Miller whom she married August 28, 1949 and who died June 28, 2004; four brothers, Ralph, Jack, Roke and Leon and five sisters, Ruby, Ruth, Mick, Grace and Violet.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm Sunday, September 19, 2010 at the Bryan-Snider Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Avenue, Zanesville.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, September 20 at the Word of Life Church, 699 Dryden Road, Zanesville with Pastor John Sensabaugh officiating. Burial will be in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice, 713 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
The family is being assisted by the Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home of Frazeysburg.
