Delmar D. Dutro, 77, of Adamsville, Ohio passed away Saturday afternoon, December 12, 2015 at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
Born December 14, 1937 in Zanesville, Ohio he is the son of O'Della Faye (Black) Dutro and the late Harry Dutro and he was a 1956 graduate of Adamsville High School. He retired in 1998 from Armco Steel in Zanesville with over 35 years of service and where he met many of his friends with whom he still spent time. He loved taking his dogs to Field Trials, spending time at the cabin and meeting with his friends on Fridays at Buffalo Wild Wings.
Surviving is his loving wife of 57 years, his childhood sweetheart, Jane (Hatfield) Dutro, whom he married November 15, 1958; five daughters, Deborah (Doug) Geyer, Darla Dutro, Denise (Curt) Marling, Deana Hindel and Della (Bob) Runyon; ten grandchildren, Wesley (Misty) Geyer, Channing Hindel, Cassandra (Jonathan) Gatten, Andrew (Lacey) Geyer, Jaclyn Hindel, Amanda Runyon, Tyler (Hannah) Marling, Kyle (Kayla) Runyon, Kayla Hindel and Taylor Marling and four great grandchildren, Jocelynn Runyon, Ella Rose Gatten, Carter Geyer and Grant Gatten, all of whom he adored.
Also surviving is a brother, Gary (Wanda) Dutro, several nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a daughter, Deidre Dutro, his brother, Larry Dutro, sister in-law, Carol Dutro and his mother in-law and father in-law, Marion and Hazel Hatfield.
Calling hours will be 4pm to 8pm Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at the Adamsville United Methodist Church, 8065 East Street, Adamsville.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the Adamsville United Methodist church with Pastor Kurtis Thomas officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.
