NEWARK ? Deborah Gray Wollenburg, 47, of Newark, Ohio, died Thursday afternoon, December 24, 2009 at Licking Memorial Hospital. Born February 24, 1962 in Newark, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Gray and Cynthia (Paul) Gray Street of Newark. Deborah was a graduate of Newark High School and was a Newark High School Wild Cadet. She is also a former Babe Ruth World Series Princess and a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Deborah never knew a stranger and was fondly thought of by all who knew her. She gave added meaning to our lives and our hearts and we are at peace. Though we can not see you, we still love you. Surviving is her husband, Greg J. Wollenburg, who she married February 26, 2005; a son and his fianc?, Scott Thomas (Jessie) Mellars of Newark; her mother and step-father, Cynthia and Robert Street of Newark; a sister, Vicki (Bill) Mason of Newark; three step-sisters, Ginger (Bobbie) Butcher of Columbus, Polly Street of North Carolina and Penny Geers of Michigan; her grandmother, Marie (Paul) Holmes of Newark; an uncle, John (Marsha) Paul and an aunt, Nancy Luby, both of Newark; her mother in-law, Carol Wollenburg of Newark; brothers in-law and sisters in-law, Jay (Michelle) Wollenburg, Doug (Mikel) Wollenburg, Jana (Jeff) Paul and Julie Windon; and several other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Deborah was also looking forward to the birth of her first grandchild. Calling hours will be from 5pm to 7pm Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 1850 West Main Street.
