David L. Wagner, 61, of Dresden, Ohio died Tuesday afternoon, November 5, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born June 24, 1958 in Zanesville, Ohio he was the son of the late George W. and Thelma M. (Wolford) Wagner.  David loved the outdoors and watching football, especially the Cincinnati Bengals.

Surviving is one daughter, Kayla Wagner of Dresden; two grandchildren; three sisters, Nancy (Ed) Newton of Zanesville, Martha (Frank) Driskel of Zanesville and Marsha (Dave) Calendine of Dresden; one brother, Charles Wagner of Zanesville and several nieces and nephews.  Also surviving is his long-time girlfriend, Mary Dyson.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Allen Wagner and a sister and brother in-law, Sheila and Jack Hooper.

Calling hours will be from 5pm to 7pm Friday, November 8, 2016 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home.

There will be no public funeral service.
