Dresden ? David R. Hardt, 69, of Dresden, Ohio went to be with his Lord at 8:45am Thursday, December 27, 2007 at Genesis Morrison House Hospice, Zanesville, Ohio. Born February 26, 1938 in Medford, Wisconsin, he is the son of Reinhold Hardt of Lake Station, Indiana and the late Elsie M. (Nikklola) Hardt. Mr. Hardt was a self-employed engineer and attended both the First United Pentecostal Church of Zanesville, and the Jubilee Revival Center of Dresden. Surviving in addition to his father, is his wife, Nancy J. (Preston) Hardt, whom he married September 26, 2000; two sons, Brent (Sasha) Hardt of the Bahamas and Bruce (Patty) Hardt of Virginia; two daughters, Brenda (Bill) Sivaro of Rhode Island and Tiffany (Chris) Perry of Connecticut; three step daughters, Pamela Spring of Hilliard, Ohio, Paula (Butch) Hixenbaugh of New Philadelphia, Ohio and Cinda Graham of Zanesville; one brother Daniel Hardt of Indiana; one sister, Lois (Dave) Currier of North Carolina; a sister in-law, Terri Hardt of Indiana; six grandchildren, Bruce Hardt, Jr., Graham Hardt, Craig Hardt, Simeon Hardt, Lilly Perry and Camille Perry and one grandchild on the way; five step grandchildren, Ryan Fuller, Cory (Carline) Jones, Ashley Hoberg, Amber Hoberg and Emilee Graham; a step great grandson, Jacob Fuller; a special friend, Kevin Somers of Zanesville and his two cats, Boots and Socks. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Hardt. Calling hours will be from Noon until service time, which will be 2:00pm Sunday, December 30, 2007 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor David Richard officiating.
