Funeral services for David C. Darling, 60 of Zanesville will be held Thursday June 28, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Rev. John Fields officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery. Mr. Darling died Sunday June 24, 2007 at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born February 25, 1947 in Columbus, Ohio to the late John and Lenora (McNeeley) Darling. He loved fishing and was employed as a painter in auto body repair. He is survived by his children, David Darling, Jr. of Zanesville; Thomas (Nancy Cron) Darling of Grove City; Lenora Darling of Hebron; ex ?wife, Rosetta Darling of Newark; brother, Paul (Sue) Darling of Louisville, KY.; six grandchildren, David Fleming, Brian Fleming, Taylor Fleming, Ashley Hamilton, Tyler Darling, Dillion Darling; many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be observed Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home 1850 West Main Street.
