A graveside service for Daryl L. Hill Garrison, 67 of Newark will be held on Wednesday October 13, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. in Cedar Hill Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Michael Noble officiating.

Daryl passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center operated by Hospice of Central Ohio.  He was born August 5, 1954 in Newark.

Daryl was a member Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. He was a self-employed contractor specializing in home remodeling. He was a 1972 graduate of Newark High School. He was active in the Boy Scouts programs, swimming and collecting electric trains and model cars. He was a devoted caregiver to his wife and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his mother, Justine M. Kelley of Newark; siblings, Margo Harris, Tina Scott, Sharon McCall, Danielle (Leroy) McIntyre, Toni Anne Hill, Margie (Granville) Harris, Teresa A. Felix all of Newark, Tracy Bond-Hill of Phoenix, AZ, John Harris, Jr. of Nashville, TN, Eric Hill of Zanesville, Bobby Kelly of Newark; step-son, Marquette Brown (Stephanie Crawford), Columbus; granddaughters, Marqkia Brown, Quatonda Neal; mother-in-law, Margaret Jacobs of Las Vegas; nephew, Joshua Scott of Newark; great nieces, Mionah Scott and Lyric Johnson of Newark; devoted friend, Ricky Spivey of Newark.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Bunyan C. Kelley; wife, Sandra M. Brown-Garrison; brother-in-law, Keith Scott.
