Danny M. Smith, 67, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Monday morning, October 29, 2018 in Frazeysburg.

Born December 23, 1950 in Philippi, West Virginia he was the son of the late Ira Gerald and Jimmie Jean (Jarrel) Smith and was a 1969 graduate of Nitro High School in Nitro, West Virginia. Mr. Smith proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Viet Nam war.  He was also a member of the Army National Guard in Newark, Ohio and was an instrument mechanic at the Newark Air Force Base.  He retired from the Boeing Corporation in 2013.  Danny was a member of the former Bible Temple of God in Newark; he attended the Community Bible Church of Frazeysburg and he was actively involved with the Aim Outreach and Food Pantry in Frazeysburg.

Surviving is his loving wife of 46 years, Lena K. (Fenneken) Smith whom he married August 25, 1972; a son and daughter in-law, Brian and Kim Smith of Myerstown, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Jessica, Austin and Ethan Smith and a sister, Debbie Myers of Winfield, West Virginia

There will be no public calling hours or funeral service.
