Danny Brookover, 63 of Dresden died Wednesday August 3, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Oh. He was born October 19, 1952 in Zanesville to the late Edward and Betty (Ross) Brookover.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sally L. (Conklin) Brookover, whom he married on February 17, 1972; children, Eric D. Brookover, Julie (Jamie) Neff, Jodi (Lee Hollinger) Brookover all of Cooperdale; grandchildren, Hailie Bug, Jaiden, Nathan, Hanna, Zeke, Zane; brothers, Ronnie (Norma) Brookover, Jimmy (Peg) Brookover all of Zanesville; mother-in-law, Sally L. Conklin of Frazeysburg; several nieces, nephews and friends.

Danny was an over the road truck driver for 30 years. He was a former employee of Buckeye Ready Mix. He enjoyed stock car racing and had driven at the Muskingum Speedway. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Saturday August 6, 2016 at 1:00 p.m.in the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 Third Street with Rev. Tom and Victoria Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Frazeysburg Cemetery.

Calling hours will be observed Saturday from 11 am until service time at the funeral home.
