Daniel W. "Danny" Roberts, 60, of Nashport, Ohio went home to his Savior, Jesus on Monday morning, September 18, 2017 at his home. His loving family was at his side.

Born October 5, 1956 in Mansfield, Ohio, he was a son of the late Orn W. and Mary Jane (Troupe) Roberts and was a 1974 graduate of Lexington High School in Lexington, Ohio. Danny received his Associate's Degree in nursing from COTC in Newark, Ohio and worked as a registered nurse at Bethesda Hospital emergency room. Danny was a master carpenter having built his own home and for many years he worked as a carpet installer at Dresden Village Furniture. He loved spending time with his wife, Harley motorcycles, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed sports and was football and baseball coach for Tri-Valley Biddy League during the 80's.

Surviving is his loving wife, Lorrie M. (Todd) Roberts whom he married December 14, 1991; four sons, Nathaniel (Elizabeth Herbst) Roberts of Trinway, Ohio, Aaron (Tiffany) Roberts of Dresden, Caycee (Susanne) Huber of Cincinnati, Ohio and Travis (Jessica) Delph of Marysville, Ohio; two daughters, Ashlee Huber of Nashport and Danielle Jade (Austin) Cannon of New Philadelphia, Ohio; eleven grandchildren, Koby, Haven, Ethan, Coen, Kolton, Jackson, Benny, Addison, Gracie, Alaina and Brittany; two sisters, Barbara (Scott) Huvler and Diane (Michael) Ritter, both of Mansfield and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Also surviving is his first wife, Darla Delph (Daniel) Vansickle of Mansfield; his mother in-law, Anna Todd of Nashport; sisters in-law and brothers in-law, Cheryl (Gary) Douglas and Lorraine (Steve) Dingey , both of Zanesville; a brother in-law, Loren Todd of Nashport and three special friends, Greg Schaefer of Maine, Greg Morrison and Lester Schumate, both of Dresden.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Roberts; his paternal grandparents, Harry and Leota (Blackledge) Roberts and his maternal grandparents, Teddy and Mary (Shaffer) Troupe.

Calling hours will be 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 9pm Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street. Calling hours will also be for one hour prior to the funeral service, which will be 11:00am Friday, September 22, 2017 at the New Hope Full Gospel Church, 3560 East Pike, Zanesville, Ohio with Pastor Joseph DiVincenzo officiating. Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery.
