Daniel “Dan” Thomas Williams, 71, of Adamsville, Ohio died unexpectedly Saturday, April 25, 2026, in the home he lived in his entire life.
Born June 13, 1954, in Adamsville, he was a son of the late Richard “Dick” and Florence “Irene” (Wortman) Williams and a 1972 graduate of Tri-Valley High School. Dan worked at LEER-United Technologies until they closed the Ohio Site. He was the sweetest, most lovable “nerd”, even before nerds were a thing. Dan was the oldest of his siblings and was there to support them in their many adventures as teens and young adults. He was generous to a fault and loved his siblings, nieces, and nephews tremendously.
Surviving are four siblings, Sam Williams of Adamsville, Fred (Brenda) Williams of Lancaster, Susan “Sue” Mitchell of Zanesville, and Timothy “Tim” (Connie) Williams of Adamsville; ten nieces and nephews that he doted on and was immensely proud of, Lindsay, Nikki, Brian, Mandy, Greg, Wade, Kylie, Sean, Casey, and Keelie and many great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister in-law, Dru Williams; brother in-law, Jeff Mitchell; paternal grandparents, Lou and Helen Williams and maternal grandparents, Emery and Alice Wortman.
A celebration of Dan’s life will take place at a later date in Adamsville.
