Dale F. Williams, 75, a lifelong resident of Dresden, passed away at his home Friday May 13, 2005 at 5:35PM surrounded by loving family. Dale was born on June 25th, 1929 in Dresden, a son of the late George Fred and Forrest Lea Williams. . Dale never met a stranger, he enjoyed simple pleasures like being on his farm with his animals, swinging on the swing, traveling, watching and feeding the birds, milking dairy cattle, spending time with his family and being a 4-H advisor with the Riverside Club for 27 years. Perhaps his greatest pleasure was always looking forward to the Muskingum County Fair. He was a farmer, an employee of Muskingum Township and had worked at The Longaberger Co., Mosaic Tile and David Davies. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Barbara (Campbell) Williams, a daughter, Vicki (Rod) Dysinger of Zanesville, two sons, Brian (Missy) Williams of Dresden, Jon (Karen) Williams of Nashport, seven grandchildren, Ashley (Nathan Brennen) Black, Adam Black, Kelly and Kristen Williams, Andrew and Austin Williams and Jonathan Pauley; sisters, Louise Dennis of Gallipolis, Verna (Ed) Hildebrand of Zanesville, Shirley Mitchell of Somerset, several nieces and nephews and many, many neighbors and friends. In addition to his parents, a son, Wayne Williams, brother, Wayne Williams, sisters Clara Dennis and Winifred Gaunder preceded him in death. Friends may call 6-8PM Sunday May 15, 2005, 2-4 & 6-8PM Monday May 16,2005 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home where services will be held on Tuesday at 11AM with Pastor Robert A. Beyer officiating, assisted by Carol Kirk. Burial will follow in Muskingum Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
