Dale F. ?Scoop? Graham, 80, of Dresden, died at 4PM Thursday September 30, 2004 at Genesis Bethesda Hospital. Mr. Graham was born September 2, 1924 in Pitcarin, PA, a son of the late Frank & Rose (Ebert) Graham. A 1943 graduate of Jefferson High School, Mr. Graham served in the US Army as a medic in the European Theatre during WWII. He had worked for Fauchs Construction Co. in Zanesville and for many years at Mineral Fibers Mfg. in Coshocton. Following retirement, he had worked at Northside Garden Center. He was an active member at the Dresden U. Methodist Church, singing in the choir, serving on committees and doing whatever work needed done around the church and was also a member of the Charles Mitchell Post #399 American Legion. A former Dresden Youth League coach for baseball and basketball, Dale was a faithful supporter of Tri-Valley athletes. He was known for his 1963 Ford Ranchero, a vehicle he restored and drove regularly. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Margaret L. ?Peg? Graham, whom he married April 11, 1947; children, Fred (Kay) Graham of Nashport, Sharon (Mike) Nusbaum of Dresden, Owen (Peg) Graham of Dresden, Joyce (Bill) Evans of Johnstown, OH; grandchildren, Mary Anne (Dennis) Cox of Newark, Michelle (Mike) Sciance of Dresden, Jill (Matt) Smith of Frazeysburg, Barry Evans of Johnstown, Todd (Yetta) Graham of Dresden, Marcy Graham of Coshocton, Joel Graham of St. Louis, MO., Elisabeth Graham, Jonathan Graham both of Nashport; great grandchildren Morgan & Michael Sciance, Blayne & Brenna Smith, Skye Graham and two brothers, Glenn (Audrey) Graham of York, PA, Robert (Marcell) Graham of Zanesville. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Bertha Graham, Nettie (Henrietta) Rose Poorman and three brothers, Frank, Earl and Harry Graham. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8PM Sunday October 3, 2004 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, where services will be held at 11AM Monday with Pastor Ricci Arthur officiating.
