Obituary
Creta M. Shoemaker, 91, of Dresden, Ohio died Thursday morning, April 12, 2018 at Cedar Hill Care Center, Zanesville, Ohio.
Born May 18, 1926 in Heath, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willaim Evans. Mrs. Shoemaker was a homemaker and a retired seamstress for the Longaberger Company.
Surviving are two daughters, Bonnie Ashcraft of Coshocton, Ohio and Robin Triplett of Zephyrhills, Florida and several grandchildren, including a special grandson, which she raised, Paul (Beverly) Wilcox of Jacksonville, North Carolina. Also surviving are several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two son, Ronald and Donald Ashcraft; two daughter, Helen Lewis and Sandra Mullinnex; a brother John Henry Evans and a half-brother, Charles Evans.
Calling hours will be from 10am to 11am Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Graveside services will be 11:00am Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Frazeysburg Cemetery.
