Connie Yvonne Starrett Bash, 54 of Dresden passed away at 2:50 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2005, at Genesis-Morrison House after a year long battle with cancer.She was born November 12, 1950 in Zanesville to Harold and Colleen (Thompson) Starrett of Duncan Falls. She was a sister to H. Michael (Kathy) Starrett and Emma Lou (Chris) O?Connell, both of Zanesville.In addition to her parents and siblings, she is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, John V. Bash, of Dresden, whom she married October 9, 1969; daughter Jennifer, granddaughter Hayley Yvonne, son Jason and granddaughter Abigail Grace, in-laws Ted and June Bash, of Norwich, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, dear friends and one very special aunt, Connie Thompson, of Snellville, GA.She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Anna M. Thompson and in-laws, Janice E. and Robert W. Gore.Yvonne worked for 13 years at the Dresden Branch of the Muskingum County Library System. She was a member of the Kismet Club in Dresden and of New Hope Lutheran Church in Adamsville.Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4:00 p.m. and 6 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2005 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at New Hope Lutheran Church, 7025 Adamsville-Ostego Road, Adamsville with Pastor Janet M. Hatch and Pastor R. Schildbach officiating. Burial will follow at the New Hope Cemetery.Memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice or New Hope Lutheran Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
