Conard "Bob" Newell, 65, of Zanesville, Ohio died Tuesday morning, September 20, 2022 at Genesis Hospital Emergency Department.

Born November 16, 1956 he was a son of Harold Newell, Sr. and the late Alberta J. (Triplett) Newell.  Bob was a 1975 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and worked for various trucking companies as a driver.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, guns and bowling. Bob was part of the Muskingum Township Fire Department for over thirty years and a member of the Dresden REACT team.

Surviving is his loving wife, Delilah (Smith) Newell whom he married June 6, 2014; his father, Harold Newell, Sr.; one daughter, Stacy Mangold of Roseville; two sons, Brandon (Karen) Newell and Ryan (Kay Bunner) Newell both of Zanesville; two step-daughters, Jennifer (Josh Morgan) Conrad of Newark and Sheila (Bud) Hackley of Dresden; one step-son, Robby (Nicole Hart) Conrad of Buckeye Lake; three brothers, Mark (Tina) Newell and John Newell both of Zanesville and Harold (Ruth) Newell, Jr. of Florida; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a wife, Jona (Lanham) Newell.

Calling hours will be 2:00pm to 6:00pm Sunday, September 25, 2022 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday, September 26, 2022 at the funeral home with Reverend Darren Tolbert officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Church Cemetery.
