Clinton O. Dawson, Jr., 54, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Sunday morning February 10, 2013 as result of a house fire at his home.
Born May 1, 1958 in Zanesville, Ohio he was a son of the late Clinton O. Dawson, Sr. and Isabelle (Aulabaugh) Dawson of Dresden. Mr. Dawson was a 1976 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and was a former block and brick mason working for International Masonry Contractors. Clint loved being outdoors and enjoyed all outdoor activities.
Surviving in addition to his mother are three daughters, Christin Stewart of Nashport, Cassandra Dawson and Catherine (Rodney) Curtis, both of Zanesville; six grandchildren, Adrianne and Jordan Stewart, Ciana and Cylee Knight, Elijah and Avery Curtis; a brother, Stephen (Margaret) Dawson of Frazeysburg; two sisters, Joyce (Dale) Price of Dresden and Joan (Jimmy) Rohrbaugh of Caldwell, Ohio; a special friend Sandra Duncan-Baney of Frazeysburg and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a grandson, Damian Stewart.
Calling hours will be from Noon to 2pm Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the funeral home with Minister Sam Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
