Funeral services for Clifford A. ?Tony? Lancaster, 56 of Newark will be held Monday November 17, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Danville, Ky. with Rev. Richard Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the Hill & Dale Cemetery.Mr. Lancaster died Wednesday November 12, 2003 at his residence. He was born February 6, 1947 in Albany, New York to the late Everhart & Mattie Lee (Ingram) Lancaster.Mr. Lancaster retired as a supervisor from Arvin Meritor in 2002. He had 30 years of service having been employed by Rockwell International in Winchester, Ky. and the past 12 years at Heath, Ohio. He was a truck driver for a short period of time. A former member of the Riders Association Motorcycle Club of Danville, He enjoyed motorcycles and sports and was a fan of the University of Kentucky football program. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Danville, Ky. Mr. Lancaster was an U. S. Army veteran and served in Vietnam.He is survived by his wife, Sandra E. (Watson) Lancaster of Newark; five daughters, D?Jarkta (Elmer) Ellis, Angela (Michael) Talul, Tara Lancaster (Derrick Robinson), Shawn Lancaster all of Lexington, Ky., E?Learna (Charles) Stirtmire, of Las Vegas, Nev.; sister, Mary (Thomas) Butler, III of Fairfax, Va.; seven grandchildren; numerous relatives and friends.Calling hours will be observed Sunday 6 to 8 p.m. at the Smith-Jackson Funeral Home, Danville, Ky.Contributions may be made to the Hospice of Central Ohio 1984 A.
