Obituary
A funeral service for Clarabelle North, 94 of Newark will be 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Newark Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home with Anthony Payton officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. North died Tuesday morning at her home. She was born April 7, 1919 in Newark to the late James E. and Rose F. (Hoffer) Whyde. Mrs. North had been a member of Second Baptist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed watching WWF wrestling.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Penny, Deanna, Gary, Misty, Ronnie, Niki; several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren including a special grandson, Braxton Bailey; a sister, Nellie Bailey; and her caregivers, Deanna Honnold, Lisa Rizer and Will Hammond.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin North; a son, Gary Allen; a daughter, Sierra Honnold; four brothers and two sisters.
Friends and family may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2013 at VENSIL & CHUTE FUNERAL HOME, 1850 W. Main St., Newark.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Generations Hospice and asks that memorial contributions be directed to them. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
