Clara R. "Cee Dee" Wright, 71, of Conesville, died at 11PM Thursday December 9, 2010 at her home.

Mrs. Wright was born September 4, 1939, a daughter of the late E. Lewis Melrose and Susie Irene (Johnson) Melrose Scott. She was a 1957 graduate of Jefferson High School in Dresden and had earned a business degree from MATC. Mrs. Wright had operated Clara's Collectables in Dresden, the Diamond Connection on Main Street in Coshocton and had started a day care at Third and Pine Streets in Coshocton. She was a life long member of the First Baptist Church in Dresden.

Surviving is her husband of 53 years, Burvil E. (Jake) Wright, her children, Steve (Beth) Wright of Centerburg, Mike Wright of Columbus, Mark (Theresa) Wright of Conesville, Vicki (Mike) Droesch of Pataskala, John (Lajana) Wright of Coshocton; 10 grandchildren, one great grandchild; sisters, Betty Wright of Dresden, Mary Ellen Lehman of Washington state, Orpha Noland of Trinway, Carol Bice of Dresden, many nieces and nephews and two step sisters, Wanda McNemar and Betty Woodell.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Bev Morrison, bothers William and Jerry Melrose; a sister, Marion Smith, brothers-in-law, Ralph Noland, Lawrence Lehman, Bernard Smith and her step father, Ray S. Scott.

Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8PM Monday December 13, 2010 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1PM at First Baptist Church in Dresden with Pastor Andrew Dennis officiating. Burial will follow in the Branch Cemetery, on CR 4.
