Cindy Renee Thomas Robinson, 51, of Newcomerstown, Ohio, formerly of Dresden, died Friday morning, March 13, 2015 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born November 26, 1963 in Zanesville, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Edwin Thomas and Patricia (Knicely) Thomas of Dresden. Cindy was a 1982 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, tending to her flower garden, her animals and doing crafts, but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was employed as a line worker at Kraft Foods of Coshocton.
Surviving in addition to her mother is one daughter, Lindsey (Joey Gracyk) Noland Erwin of Dresden; a son, Kyle Noland of Dresden; one step-daughter, Amy (Johnny) Harris of Nashport; two step-sons, Mike (Jenny) Robinson of Marne, Ohio and Nick (Shantelle) Robinson of Nashport; her six loving grandchildren, Landon, Cloey, Amelia, Peyton, Jarod and Ava; two brothers, Mark (Kathy) Thomas of East Bloomfield, Ohio and Mike Thomas of Dresden and two sisters, Brenda Black and Valerie (John) Williams, both of Dresden. Also surviving is her fiancé, Jim Sweeney of Newcomerstown, her very special friends, Diane, Karla, Danny and Mark and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Monday, March 16, 2015 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor Sharon Williamson, her brother, the Rev. Mark Thomas and her nephew, the Rev. Kurtis Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery.
