FRAZEYSBURG ? Christopher Parsons, 21, of Beavercreek, Ohio died Friday morning, May 22, 2009 at Hospice of Dayton after a long battle with melanoma. Born September 5, 1987 in Newark, Ohio, he is the son of Ronald and Denise (Dorsey) Parsons of Beavercreek and was a 2006 graduate of Beavercreek High School. Chris was a member of Aley United Methodist Church in Beavercreek and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Surviving in addition to his parents is a sister, Cindi and a brother Bryan, both of Beavercreek; his grandparents, Roy and Barb (Wheeler) Hammer of Heath, Ohio and Gene and Jean (Kidwell) Parsons of Loogootee, Indiana; and his great grandmother, Ora Dell Wheeler of Newark. He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Glen Wheeler. Calling hours will be 6 to 9pm Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street. Funeral services will be 10:00am Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at the funeral home with the Rev. Dave Warner officiating. Burial will be in Smith Chapel Cemetery.
