Cheryl A. Untied, 68, of Dresden, died Saturday evening, May 25, 2024 at Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville.
Born July 23, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Hazel (Paul) Crozier and Rodney (Rachael) Rollison, Sr. and a 1973 graduate of Tri-Valley High School. Cheryl worked for over 30 years for the Longaberger Company and was known for her tireless work ethic. She enjoyed being on the beach and anything beach related, lighthouses, taking walks, and driving through the country looking for deer. Cheryl spent many hours watching her grand dogs and cherished every moment she was able to babysit her great granddaughter, Hazel. Cheryl's most beloved treasure was her family; she was the centerpiece of her large family and loved keeping them all close.
Surviving is her husband, David Untied whom she married December 15, 2005; four children, Patsy (Kenny) Smythe, Matt (Niki) Untied, Missy (Brent) Markley and Mandy Preston; thirteen grandchildren, Kyle Smythe, Laken Black, Hannah Wagner, Brandon Peck, Cameron Ward, Connor and Cale Preston, Lily, Lane, and Logan Untied, Macy, Braxton, and Braylon Markley; great granddaughter, Hazel Mae Black; thirteen siblings, Rodney Rollison, Jr., Rich (Denise) Rollison, Terry (Pam) Crozier, Ted (Karen) Crozier, Sr., Lois (Mike) Buckenberger, Paul (Nancy) Crozier, Jr., Linda McVay, Donna Cochran, Tony (Gigi) Runkle-Guichard, Mark Rollison, Roderick (Jodi) Rollison, Bobby Rollison, Robyn Rollison and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Cheryl is also survived by her grand dogs, Phoebe and Sissy and her feline friend, Fluffy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Warren Hiles and Dee Rollison.
As per Cheryl's wishes, a private funeral and burial will take place with her beloved family in attendance.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dresden EMS, Genesis ER, Genesis 3N PCU, and Genesis Morrison House for the love and care they gave Cheryl and the entire family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dresden Fire Department.
