Obituary
Cheryl L. Modesitt, 67, of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, formerly of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Tuesday afternoon, October 24, 2017 at Brookdale of Mt. Vernon.
Born July 31, 1950 in Mount Vernon, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Dale and Pauline (Willey) Keller and was a homemaker. Mrs. Modesitt attended Rocky Fork Church of Christ.
Surviving is one son, Michael (Sherry) Maharg of Danville, Ohio; one daughter, Mary (Jason) Henley of Buena Vista, Virginia; four grandchildren, Kylie (Jake), Aaron, Wade and Joseph and one great grandchild, Ivy.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale L. Modesitt whom she married September 16, 1974 and who died May 17, 2012.
Calling hour will be 5pm to 7pm Friday, October 27, 2017 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street. Following calling hours and dignified cremation will take place.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National MS Society, Post Office Box 4527, New York, New York 10163.
