Charles E. Gibson, 91, of Dresden, died at 10:15AM Sunday August 16, 2009 at Autumn Healthcare of Zanesville. Mr. Gibson was born November 7, 1917 in Coshocton County, a son of the late Louis and Mary (Smailes) Gibson. He was a graduate of Jefferson High School, retired from General Electric in Coshocton where he was a mica machine operator and was a member of the Dresden United Methodist Church. Surviving are several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (Comer) Gibson on January 3, 2009; three brothers, Homer, Robert and Russell Gibson and two sisters, Grace Foster and Arla Korus. Friends may call 6-9PM Wednesday August 19, 2009 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home and one hour prior to an 11AM service Thursday with Pastor Max Williams officiating.
