Obituary

Charles R. "Dick" Morin, 75, of Dresden, Ohio died Tuesday morning, September 17, 2013 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio.
Born February 25, 1938 in Newark, Ohio he was a son of the late Charles E. and Della E. (Nethers) Morin and was a 1956 graduate of Hanover-Toboso High School. Mr. Morin was a retired conductor with Conn Rail Railroad and had previously been employed by Kaiser Aluminum Corporation of Heath, Ohio. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, especially deer hunting, cutting wood and all other outdoor activities.
Surviving is his wife, Delorese Jean (Fluharty) Morin whom he married October 19, 1974; two sons, Kevin (Venetia) Morin and Kelly (Kim) Morin, both of Frazeysburg; two step-children, Marion (Diane) Loughman and Kim Loughman, both of Newark; seven grandchildren; Tee Sforza, Taylor (Adam) Foshee, Kodi Morin, Corey (Mike) Queen, Casy Loughman, Shawn Loughman and Chase Loughman; six great grandchildren, Evelyn Foshee, Kambra Morin, Mattie Queen, Koasten Mangus, Sadey Queen and Trague Loughman; a sister, Becky (Glenn) Baker of Lindsey, Ohio; a brother, Danny Morin of Nashport, Ohio and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be from 6pm to 8pm Monday, September 23, 2013 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.
Funeral services will be at 8pm Monday, September 23, 2013 at the funeral home following calling hours with the Rev. Rob Morris officiating.
