FRAZEYSBURG ? Funeral services for Charles A. ?Bud? Carter, Sr., 81, of 151 Harris Avenue, Heath, Ohio, will be at 2:00pm Tuesday, March 30, 2004 in the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Belt officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery. Mr. Carter died at 5:10pm Saturday, March 27, 2004 at St. Vincent Hospital, Toledo, Ohio. Born October 30, 1922 in Mt. Pleasant, Ohio, he was the son of the late William Ray and Jesse L. (Keith) Carter and was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Newark and the Teamsters Union. Mr. Carter was employed as a truck driver with ZTI Trucking. Surviving is his wife, Carrie (Williams) Carter whom he married December 14, 1950; two sons, Charles A. (Ginny) Carter, Jr. of Frazeysburg and Curtis E. Carter and his special companion, Jessica, of Heath; two grandchildren, Megan (Lowell) Sammons of Charleston, South Carolina and Brandon Carter of Frazeysburg; a daughter in-law, Linda Carter of Florida; several nieces and nephews; and his very special friend, his dog, ?Bear?. In addition to his parents, a daughter Bonnie Sue Carter preceded him in death. Calling hours will be 6 to 8pm Monday, March 29, 2004 at Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 Third Street, Frazeysburg.
