Catharine L. "Katie" White Sidle, 90, of Heath, passed away Wednesday afternoon, September 14, 2022, at home after an extended illness.

Mrs. Sidle was born December 12, 1931 in Lancaster, Ohio, to the late J, Dudley and Mildred (Brown) Bookwalter. She attended Ohio University following graduation from Lancaster High School. She raised three children and then worked as a commercial artist for Merrill Publishing/Glenco.

Survivors include her children, Tim (Connie) White of Heath, OH, Brian (Christy) White of Lexington, OH, and Linda Leduke of Hopewell, OH, grandchildren, Michelle (David) Swigert, Christina (Danny) Loper, Mathew (Tyline) White, and Rebecca (Seth) Geib, 6 great-grandchildren, 4 great great-grandchildren, and many step-children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband of 35 years, Norman R, White in 1988, and her second husband of 15 years, Chester G. Sidle in 2011.

Friends and family may call from 1 p,m, to 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Vensil & Chute Funeral Home – Newark Chapel, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark.

A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Forest Rose Cemetery in Lancaster at a later date.
