A funeral service for Carolyn A. Zollinger, 67 of Heath will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 12, 2009 in the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Myers officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Carolyn died Wednesday evening at the Selma Markowitz Care Center, operated by Hospice of Central Ohio. She was born September 24, 1941 in Ft. Gay, W.Va. to the late Everett and Nolda (Wilson) Cyrus. Carolyn enjoyed bowling, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her daughters, Vanita (Kelly) Butler of Newark, and Carolyn (Robert Block) Perry of Westerville; a son, Donald Frank (Helen)Perry of Canal Winchester; sisters, Dorothy (Grant) Chaffin, Dora Taggert, Katherine Ratcliff, Judy (Clifford) Ellis; brothers, Al Cyrus, Ed (Carol) Cyrus; grandchildren, Samantha, Donnie, Nick, Blake, Breanne, Brittney, Leilani, Darrell, and Chandler. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by a brother, Tick Cyrus; and a sister, Jean Tolber. Friends and family may visit from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark.Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio, P.O.
