FRAZEYSBURG â?? Carolyn K. Susil, 61, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Saturday evening, July 3, 2010, at her residence after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Born June 13, 1949 in Coshocton, Ohio she is the daughter of Carl W. Wilcox of Frazeysburg and the late Ruth M. (Starner) Wilcox. Carolyn is a 1967 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Dresden. For many years she was active in the St. Ann Catholic Womenâ??s Club and she enjoyed camping, fishing, sewing, quilting and anything involving her family.
Surviving in addition to her father is her husband, Joseph W. Susil whom she married May 20, 1972; two sons and daughters in-law, Michael Shawn and Wendy Gammon and Jay Dee and Katie Susil, all of Zanesville; three daughters and sons in-law, Christa Lynn and Brian Hutton and Elaine Jo and Richard Bell, all of Frazeysburg and Peggy Ann and Devin Norman of Newcomerstown, Ohio; six grandchildren, Makenna Susil, Camille Susil, Gracie Hutton, Ayla Norman, Ezra Norman and Addison Bell; a brother and sister in-law, John W. and Marjorie Wilcox of Dresden and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother Gene Danner.
Calling hours will be 5 to 8pm Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street with Christian Wake services at 8pm. The Rosary will be recited following the wake services.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 405 Chestnut Street, Dresden with the Rev. Father Jack Maynard as celebrant.
