FRAZEYSBURG ? Carolyn Reiss, 76, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Saturday, December 8, 2007 at Genesis Morrison House Hospice, Zanesville, Ohio. Born September 20, 1931 in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late E. F. and Katherine B. (Glenn) High. Mrs. Reiss was a retired school teacher having taught in the Mt. Vernon, Ohio and Springfield, Ohio public Schools. She was a member of the Rockway Lutheran Church of Springfield and attended St. John?s Lutheran Church of Zanesville. She was a member of the Ohio Retired Teachers Association and the Fifty Club of Frazeysburg and she was very active in volunteer work at the Alfred S. Carr Center of Zanesville and the Muskingum County Home. Surviving is three sons, Bob (Ginger) Reiss and Stephen (Mary) Reiss, both of Frazeysburg and Daniel Reiss of Cumberland, Maryland; one daughter, Allison French of Hendersonville, Tennessee; one brother, Adams (Carol) High of Buckeye Lake, Ohio; eleven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Robert T. Reiss, whom she married August 15, 1953 and who died July 22, 2003 and a brother, Ferdinand High.
