Carolyn Kay Hindel, 54, of Dresden, died at 10:35AM Sunday April 25, 2004 at her home following a six month illness. She was born January 1, 1950 in Coshocton, a daughter of the late Max and Marjorie J. (Cox) Brennen, Mr. Brennen died June 20, 1973 and Mrs. Brennen Oct. 27, 2003. Mrs. Hindel was a 1968 graduate of Tri-Valley High School, was a 1971 graduate of the Good Samaritan School of Nursing and worked as an R.N. at Good Samaritan for 33 years, most of her career on 7-West-A. She was a member of the Trinway United Methodist Church for over 40 years and enjoyed playing the piano and baked countless dozens of wonderful cookies for her friends. Surviving are her daughter, Leandra (Jason) Leffel of Trinway, her son, Kevin (Amy) Hindel of Frazeysburg, her brother, Steve Brennen of Dresden, sister in law, Judy Goetz of Dresden, an aunt and uncle, Russell and Marilyn Kain of Wadsworth, nieces and nephews, Jerod (Cori) Brennen, Jeremy (Steph) Brennen, Jessica Brennen, Emily Brennen, Elizabeth (Craig) Swingle, Nathan Brennen, great niece and nephews, Michael, Joel and Samantha Brennen and several cousins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Brennen on May 16, 1990 and her sister, Lori Brennen on May 17, 1994. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-9PM Tuesday April 27, 2004 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, where services will be held at 11AM Wednesday with Rev. Tom Myers officiating.
