FRAZEYSBURG ? Carole O. Fraunfelter, 62, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Wednesday evening, July 8, 2009 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville, Ohio. Born July 18, 1946 in Zanesville, she was the daughter of the late Graham and Grace (Gould) Johnston and was a 1964 graduate of Frazeysburg High School. She also was a graduate of Ohio University majoring in education and she retired in 2002 from Crooksville Schools where she had been an elementary teacher for many years. Carole loved farming and horseback riding and was a member of the Licking Valley Horse Club. She also enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Carole was the loving mother of two children, Leslie (Mike) Rodich of Thornville, Ohio and Sean (Jennifer) Fraunfelter of Milford, Ohio; and the beloved grandmother of Rylee Grace Rodich, Raine Mikel Rodich, Madison Leigh Fraunfelter and Griffin Graham Fraunfelter. Also surviving is her sister, Cinda (Mike) Wilson and her brother, Craig (Karen) Johnston, both of Frazeysburg and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be from 4pm to 7pm Sunday, July 12, 2009 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street. Funeral services will be at 7:00pm Sunday, July 12, 2009 at the funeral home with Rev. Paula Caton officiating. Burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
