Carol Edmister, 80 of St. Louisville passed away September 9, 2024 at Knox Community Hospital, Mt. Vernon.  Carol was born July 28, 1944 in Newark to the late Wayne C. and Isabelle (Larason) Jones.

Carol was an alum of Licking Valley High School and Ohio State University.  Carol's love of children led her to careers in elementary education and early childhood development.  After retirement, she became an active member of the Master Gardeners of Licking County and the Licking County Research Club.  In addition to being remembered as a loving mother and devoted wife, many will remember Carol as a close friend.

Survivors include her loving husband, Larry Edmister; and her son, Erin Edmister.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Jones.

A private celebration of life will take place in the spring.
