A funeral service for Carl Ross Frost, 80 of Newark will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday July 4, 2007 in the Newark Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Hissong officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery with military funeral honors provided by the Licking County Veterans Alliance. Mr. Frost passed away Saturday evening June 30, 2007 at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. He was born September 24, 1926 in Fallsburg to the late Mathew J. and Etha (Davis) Frost. Mr. Frost was a 1944 graduate of Bladensburg High School. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Frost had worked in the oil fields and as a farmer. He retired from Roper Corporation. He was a member of the Northside Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife Mary Lou (Ressler) Frost; daughters, Vicky Walbright of Newark, Jacqueline McKee of Newark, Roberta Holmes of Savannah, Ga., Karen (George) Annarino of Newark; a son, Frank (Judy) Ivan, Jr. of Conifer, Co.; grandchildren, Frank Ivan, III., Jamie Walbright, Erin Palmer, Deana (Srihan) DeLivera, Tammi Mckee, Tracy Kidd, J.C. (Kristi) Annarino; and six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Frost was preceded in death by sisters, Sara Moran, Mary Alice Crouch, Maxine Willis; and a brother, Earl Frost.
