Carl E. Boyer, 63, of Dresden died unexpectedly at 6:05 PM Monday January 10, 2005 at Genesis Bethesda ER. Mr. Boyer was born August 28, 1941 in Coshocton, a son of the late Jess and Louise (Smith) Boyer. His passion was truck driving, starting at the age of 16 and had been in the trucking business for 47 years. Mr. Boyer had contracted with Shelly Materials, Ross Brothers of Adams Mills, Iddings Trucking of Lowell, OH and for the last twenty five years was self employed as Boyer Trucking. Surviving are his wife Mary E. (McGee) Boyer, whom he married September 6, 1972; two daughters, Carla (Danny) Sensabaugh of Dresden and Brenda (Mike) Tatro of Warsaw; one step-daughter, Becky Reilly of Dresden; two sons, Tom (Terry Jo) Boyer of Newark and Tim (Joanne) Boyer of Loundenville; three brothers, John (Carol) Boyer, Albert (Donna) Boyer and Donald Boyer all of Coshocton; one sister, Frances (Ellsworth ?Bub?) Richcreek of Coshocton; 5 grandchildren, Brittany Sensabaugh, Katie Boyer, Daniel and Kyle Sensabaugh and Skyler Boyer; three neices and several nephews and his faithful dog, ?Dusty?. Friends may call 6-9 PM Wednesday January 12, 2005 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home where services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday January 13, 2005 with Father Jack Maynard officiating.
